Huntsville Hospital provides Patient Care Aide training to prepare an individual to understand and assist health care providers with a patient’s care during hospitalization. During an intensive three-day training period, students receive clinical instruction and simulation lab practice to apply when meeting patient care needs.
There are no prerequisites. This is a non-accredited program, and students are not eligible to take the national certification exam. You must be eligible to be a hospital employee.
*Individuals currently employed by Huntsville Hospital may apply but their overall work history including any past disciplinary actions will be taken into consideration in the final applicant selection process. Interested individuals may obtain information from Corporate University offices.
