Huntsville Hospital and North Alabama Craft Training Foundation are partnering to provide apprenticeship for the electrical program. During the four-year apprenticeship program, the apprentice associated with the North Alabama Craft Training Facility shall receive work experience and job-related education in all phases of the occupation, including safe work practices, necessary to develop the skill and proficiency of a skilled professional. At the end of the program, the candidate will receive an apprenticeship journey worker certification from the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship and their NCCER certification from the North Alabama Craft Training Center.
This four-year long program will train, educate and pay you to become a certified apprenticeship journey worker and be able to work as an electrical mechanic at Huntsville Hospital. There is at least a two-year work requirement once the four-year apprenticeship program is finished.

- High school or GED completion required
- A minimum of a two-year work requirement once the four-year apprenticeship program is finished
- Individuals currently employed by Huntsville Hospital may apply but their overall work history including any past disciplinary actions will be taken into consideration in the final applicant selection process.
- When hired into the program, you will be considered a Huntsville Hospital employee and will follow the organization policies.
