Volunteer Services

In the summer of 1895, a group of caring ladies known as the United Charities stepped out on faith and opened a small infirmary in a cottage on Mill Street. Today, Huntsville Hospital is among the most advanced medical centers in the nation, thanks to employees and physicians who have dedicated their lives to giving care; to volunteers who have given their time and financial resources to support their community hospital; to board members who have exercised wisdom and compassion in governing the institution; and to patients who have trusted Huntsville Hospital to provide the care and service they need. People helping people. That's where it started in 1895 and remains our mission today.

We are currently updating our volunteer website. Please check back with us about volunteer opportunities for adults across the Huntsville Hospital Main and Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children campuses.
