Dr. David Schulz is a distinguished graduate of the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri, where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree. With over 40 years of dedicated service in the medical field, Dr. Schulz has compiled extensive experience across various domains, including emergency, internal and occupational medicine.
Having spent two decades specializing in occupational medicine, Dr. Schulz brings unparalleled expertise to his role as Medical Director at Huntsville Hospital’s Occupational Health Group. His vast background encompasses leadership positions such as Chief of Primary Care and Deputy Hospital Commander during his tenure in the U.S. Army.
Dr. Schulz’s commitment to excellence is underscored by his accreditation as a Medical Review Officer (MRO) and certification as a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner. His comprehensive skillsets make him an invaluable asset to the health care community, ensuring optimal care and safety for all individuals under his guidance.
David W. Cole, MD, MPH
Dr. David Cole, a military-trained medical professional, holds a medical degree from the University of Arkansas and completed his surgical internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He specializes in aerospace and occupational medicine, is a FAA Flight Surgeon, and holds board certifications in aerospace, occupational, and environmental medicine. Dr. Cole served as Chief Resident at the Navy Aerospace Medical Institute and completed a fellowship in acupuncture at the Helms Medical Institute. He has been recognized for his service overseas and served as Chief Medical Officer at Fox Army Health Center before joining Huntsville Hospital’s Occupational Health Group. Additionally, he was an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt University’s School of Nursing and is a fellow of the American College of Preventative Medicine and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Stephen Craft, MD
Dr. Stephen Craft, a skilled Occupational and Aerospace Medicine physician, holds a medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and completed his Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency at the University of California, Irvine. Additionally, he earned a Master of Science in Environmental Health Sciences during this time. Dr. Craft is a U.S. Naval Flight Surgeon, trained at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, and has served in multiple flight surgeon roles, including at NAS Whiting Field and Navy Operational Support Command North Island. His extensive experience spans work in both military and civilian sectors, providing comprehensive occupational health services, including DOT certification and pre-employment screenings. Dr. Craft is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the American College of Preventive Medicine. He has presented clinical research at national conferences and continues to practice as an Occupational Medicine physician at Huntsville’s Occupational Health Group.

She worked as a registered nurse in the medical intensive care unit (MICU) and post anesthesia care unit (PACU) before obtaining her master’s degree from University of Alabama at Birmingham and becoming a nurse practitioner. Colee is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the AANP and is a certified DOT Medical Examiner.

Drew is a CRNP who previously worked for the emergency department at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Drew earned his master’s degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville before becoming a nurse practitioner.
