David Schulz, DO
Medical Director
Dr. Schulz is a graduate of the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, MO and possesses over forty years of comprehensive expertise spanning emergency medicine, family medicine, and occupational medicine. After two decades of experience in occupational medicine, Dr. Schulz has accepted the position of Medical Director at Huntsville Hospital‘s Occupational Health Group. He has previously held positions as Chief of Primary Care and Deputy Hospital Commander in the US Army. He holds accreditation as a Medical Review Officer(MRO) and is certified as a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner.

David W. Cole, MD, MPH
Dr. David Cole specializes in aerospace, occupational, and environmental medicine at Huntsville Hospital’s Occupational Health Group, focusing on workplace health, safety, and preventative care. A fellow of both the American College of Preventive Medicine and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, he is dedicated to promoting employee wellness and managing occupational health needs across various industries. Previously serving as Chief Medical Officer at Fox Army Health Center, Dr. Cole has experience in military and civilian medicine. His background includes leadership roles and contributions to advancing occupational health standards in diverse working environments.

Stephen Craft, MD
Dr. Stephen Craft is an Occupational and Aerospace Medicine physician at Huntsville’s Occupational Health Group, specializing in comprehensive occupational health services, including FAA medical certificates, DOT certifications, and pre-employment screenings. He holds a medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and a Master of Science in Environmental Health Sciences from UC Irvine, where he also completed his Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency. A U.S. Naval Flight Surgeon trained at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute, Dr. Craft has served in various military and civilian roles and is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the American College of Preventive Medicine.

David W. Purner, MD
Dr. David Purner is an experienced Occupational Medicine physician at Huntsville Hospital’s Occupational Health Group, with a diverse background in emergency medicine, urgent care, and occupational health. He earned his medical degree from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University and has over four decades of experience delivering high-quality care focused on patient well-being and workplace safety. A U.S. Army veteran, Dr. Purner served 23 years including active duty and reserve roles, including a deployment during Operation Desert Storm, retiring as a Major and receiving multiple commendations for his service and leadership.

Colee is a CRNP with experience in urgent/primary care and occupational medicine. She worked as a registered nurse in the medical intensive care unit (MICU) and post anesthesia care unit (PACU) before obtaining her master’s degree from University of Alabama at Birmingham and becoming a nurse practitioner. Colee is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the AANP and is a certified DOT Medical Examiner.

Drew Hill, CRNP
Drew is a CRNP who previously worked for the emergency department at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Drew earned his master’s degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville before becoming a nurse practitioner. He has experience in urgent/primary care and occupational medicine, is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the AANP and is a certified DOT Medical Examiner.
