Rollings and Johnson Appointed to At-large Seats on Health Care Authority
The development of Huntsville Hospital Health System has resulted in improved healthcare services and facilities in communities across north Alabama. As we have worked closely together through our Health System, we have seen the value of cooperative decision making. In 2015, the Huntsville City Council amended the bylaws of the Health Care Authority in order to support the expanding service area of our Health System by allowing the board to appoint two additional members itself. These at-large members may be residents of any of the communities that we serve. The Health Care Authority is pleased to welcome Roy D. Rollings of Guntersville and Janice H. Johnson of Huntsville to the governing board of Huntsville Hospital Health System.
Rollings is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and the managing partner of Gateway Group, LLC of Guntersville. He is the current chairman of the Marshall County Health Care Authority. Rollings is a graduate of the University of Alabama and was named Guntersville’s Citizen of the Year in 2019.
Johnson is a retired CPA and tax attorney who currently volunteers as treasurer and board member of Huntsville Hospital Foundation, the development arm of Huntsville Hospital. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee-Martin and the University of Kentucky College of Law.
