Health Group of Alabama
Health Group of Alabama (HGA) implements the contract, awarded by the State Medicaid Agency, to care for all pregnant Medicaid/SOBRA eligible clients in Districts 1 and 2 of north Alabama (10 counties, brochure with district mapping available upon request). Health Group of Alabama's primary role is subcontracting for services from participating hospitals, physicians, health departments and care coordinators. Associated administrative duties include billing and quality assurance activities.
